The Eclectika Gallery was founded in December of 2015 by artists and gallerists Derrick Hamm, Shirin Ghoreyshi, and Ida Yavari at the Midtown Galleries of Dallas, Texas. Over its fourteen month run, the space held ten exhibitions and three special performance events.
Envisioned as an artist - centric space, the gallery aimed to illuminate the diversity of art produced in North Texas by showcasing work in carefully organized and curated exhibitions. The hosted exhibitions ranged from amusing takes on consumerism ( Retail Disclosure ), to new applications of traditional photography techniques ( Dissimulacra ), and to celebrating the hand crafted ( Woodworks ). In addition to exhibitions, the space hosted the special performance pieces Captain Kiser vs Monkey Ninja and Magic(K): An Evening of Wizardry with John Wilson.

The Eclectika displayed its final exhibition, the installation show Dust, upon the closure of The Midtown Galleries in February 2017.
